Kitty    **Adopted**

Kitty is one lucky little lady. When her owner shipped off to Iraq to serve our country and the owner's mother could not care for her, Kitty was headed for the county shelter. Fortunately, a ten-year old girl stepped in to turn things around for Kitty. The girl convinced her family to allow her to foster Kitty, and then she contacted the St. Mary's Animal Welfare League for assistance.

Prior to Kitty's young friend rescuing her, she had lived most of her life in a bedroom with little human interaction and no contact with other cats. She is a bit shy, but once she gets to know you, her personality comes out. She is a quiet, friendly, and good-natured cat who needs a home to explore and someone to give her the daily attention she deserves. She has now been living in her new foster home for several months and has blossomed. She's enjoying having a family, but hopes that she can soon find a family of her own who will love her furever.
