Attached is a photo of our little snuggle pup. He’s designated that as his blanket and his corner of the couch. If he isn’t spread out in his bed this is where he can be found. The bunnies have welcomed him into the family and everyone is getting along perfectly.
We absolutely adore Magnolia! She is precious and brings multiple smiles and laughs every day. You did a wonderful job socializing her while she was fostered. Everyone who meets her falls in love! Our other two cats are slow accepting her but Magnolia's handling it well and we're making progress.
I adopted a cat at Petco the first week of Auust. She is a darling little cat. Thank you so much! Mona (you called her "Mama Mona") has adjusted well to our multi-cat household.
She is happy and fat!
Today marks one week with our new (old) dog, Odie, and we are happy to say (and please don't take this the wrong way), you may NEVER have him back!
My husband and I are absolutely in love with him!! He has been the perfect dog. He seemed a bit depressed on the first day, but we expected as much, since he has been through so much upheaval in the past month or two. On his second day, the honor of his presence was requested at a cookout, where he interacted all day with two great danes, a French bulldog, and a bullmastiff. He did wonderfully! He perked up as soon as he saw them. All the dogs played well together, and at the end of our outing, Odie was instigating the barking at strangers walking on the park trail on the other side of the fenced yard. He was such a "tough guy." Haha...if only they knew -- he can't stay awake but 20 minutes at a time.
...It's a dog's life! Especially at nap time. He's doing great! Loves to romp with his Goldendoodle buddy in our friends' fenced two acres. He's shed a few pounds, is very fit and active. Has amazing energy and stamina for a dog his age. Exercise is key. Now, if I would get off my lazy fanny, I would be fit and trim, too!
Hope all is well with you and yours!
