Hello Everyone,

A couple more SMAWL Miracles to purr about...

We finalized the adoption of Darcy one of our cats who has been in foster care for a few months on Saturday. He had been a returned kitten as he and the puppy had proven to bring "too much chaos to his original adopter's home." His new family feels very fortunate for that as Darcy, now known as Snowball, is the purrfect fit for his new family.

And making a "mark" of her own is Markie a young kitten who was also adopted on Saturday. She's one very lucky little gal who has a labrador retriever for a sibling. The update from her family is that she is adjusting well and "enjoys being held and loved on."

Thanks to all of you who had a part in any way in saving the lives of these kitties. Whether it be helping to rescue these kitties, caring for them while they were in our care, fundraising or doing background or admin. work within SMAWL; it takes all of these things together to make this rescue and adoption happen.

That's two more kitties who know what it feels like to have a warm bed and a family to love them thanks to you! Make us proud Darcy & Markie!

Hi all-

Just wanted to pass on that today Tuck, a PETCO kitty went to his fur-ever home! :-) He is pawsitively excited to share a home w/ his new family which includes a few dogs & a child to play with!

Most of you didn't get a chance to meet Otto, but he was adopted last month to a wonderful retired couple that has already begun spoiling him! He was one of my fosters who found us. :-)

Thank you all for what you do to help support each kitty finding a home...one at a time.
