Volunteer Network - SMAWL Volunteer - Thank You!

In addition to the wonderful PETCO Adoption Event this weekend, SMAWL was also invited to attend a yard sale being held at the College of Southern Maryland by their Student Association. The proceeds from their table rental will be split between SMAWL and a local food bank.

I was fortunate enough to assist in this event along with a wonderful group of volunteers.

Thank you first to Board Member Bev Norris for single handedly coordinating this event.

Also a huge thank you to Jeff and his foster Pacco for attending. As well as to sweet Rebel who is anything but a rebel for bringing his foster parents, Justin and Nicole.

For those who missed these events, have no fear as another is near! This Saturday, August 8th, we will be at Cici's Pizza participating in their Ultimate Awareness Pizza Party. We will be taking the opportunity to do some educating on kindness to animals. Please let us know if you would like to participate. We need volunteers from 11AM - 3PM.
