Foster Opportunity -- Hank

We are looking for a foster home for Hank, a four-year-old Redbone Coonhound.

Hank is a very sweet dog! While he does have some spunk in his personality and occasionally bounces around when he gets excited, he is generally VERY lazy! As far as I have seen, he is great with both cats and dogs. He LOVES people and cannot get enough attention. He tends to cry like most hound dogs when he is alone or not part of the party. He has been around children on a regular basis and is very gentle and patient. Generally he smells them a bit and gives them a good slobber and moves on to something else.

Due to his curious hound dog nature and tendency to follow a smell, he is a wanderer and needs to be in a fenced yard. He makes a wonderful inside dog, no accidents in the house yet. I am confident Hank will soon find his forever home!!

Please know that just because you have completed an application, you are not committed to fostering for SMAWL. The application ensures that if a suitable foster animal becomes available, we can contact you to offer you an opportunity to foster. Feel free to include any limitations you may have when fostering (to include breeds, size, temperament, dates available, etc)---anything that assists us in making an acceptable placement for our animals. SMAWL will be responsible for all medical care. We will reimburse foster families for food, if requested by the foster family.
